Just as a sort of fun thing, here is a look back to what my illustrations looked like back in the day. It’s a nice reminder (not just to myself but for everyone) that everybody has to start somewhere.
Here are some oil-paintings I recently did. Above is a self-portrait.
A color chart using blues and oranges. While this may seem tedious, you really learn a lot from doing it.
I thought it might be kind of interesting to document one painting (not the best painting I’ve ever done but certainly not the worst either) from the start to an almost finished piece.
Here is the final for the unicorn bookplate. I did another sketch inbetween the final and the last sketch.
Here’s a magazine cover I did. It’s pretty bright.

For this assignment we had to paint ourselves as the animal we though we were most like. I choose a mouse, surrounded by candy.
