I FINALLY GOT A SCANNER! WOOOOOooooooOOO! Break out the party hats!

In honor of this I’ve decided to do something fun, for me and hopefully for you too. For the next 30 days I’m going to do one painting (taking no longer than 3 hours to complete) each day and post it on my blog and on my Facebook page. I think it will be a nice little exercise to get me motivated again and to help me brush up on my skills. I’ve imposed a time limit for myself so that I don’t get carried away and noodle around too much on one painting. Plus I think it will help keep them nice and “fresh” as they say. These will probably be pretty small little paintings, but I’m going to try and use a variety of different mediums so that I can experiment a bit.

I’ve already made a list of things that I want to paint but I have one spot open for a suggestion/idea/random brain-fart from anyone who cares to offer one up. Want to see me paint something specific? Do you have 3 random words you pulled out of a hat and want to see what I’d do with them? Let me know and maybe I’ll pick you’re idea!

Sounds like fun right? I’ll be posting the first painting tomorrow so keep an eye out for it and I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I surely am.
